Phoebe from 2 months old..

I loved the newborn stage don’t get me wrong but when phoebe was nearly 3 months old she was getting so much more interesting, she started to grab things and reach for things on the floor while having tummy time.

We bought her this playmat with a piano on the bottom of it and she absolutely loved it🙃 she loved kicking her feet! I used to put this sensory book under her legs and she would go crazy!!

She started to grasp things quite quickly but wasn’t sure about moving them as she would smack her face 😂

June 2nd.

8th of June She started putting toys to the mouth just under 3months old.

At 3 months old she was holding her head really well, and she loved tummy time which was great 🙌🏼 she also knew how to put the dummy in her mouth or take it out.

we also started to put phoebe in the bath lead down rather than on the angel care bath seat because I was wasting so much water and she preferred to splash about and have freedom😍 haven’t looked back since she loves it! Even no she rolls over and swims about 😍

Bath time is phoebes favourite time of the day🛀🏼

By the end of June so nearly 4 months she started to try and roll she would get half way, get stuck and roll back round.

I tried putting her on her tummy first and she could actually roll herself back. She mastered that very quickly.

Phoebe started to giggle around 4 months but she actually proper laughed when she was 5 months and at 5 months is when she learnt to roll over 🙌🏼🤗

Once she could roll that was it she was on the move all the time, look down for one second and she’s rolled her way to the kitchen😂 took a while to get used to rolling both ways I think she was just coming up to 6 months before she got the hang of going both ways, and she can swing herself round to roll in different directions 😂 she’s only just turned 7 months and she’s trying to crawl by pushing her toes and really stretching for toys.

Yesterday she said her first word which of course was..

Dada🙄

And now that’s all she says and a nearly hello😂

she still has a dummy but only when it’s nap time or bedtime, or she’s poorly. She’s not a wingey baby or one that cry’s when their is no need. She’s actually a really good baby and I’m so lucky and I no I am. She only proper cry’s when she’s poorly or is overtired. I can’t complain so I try not to as it bugs other mums that tell me their child keeps them up all night or cry’s for them all the time🙄 and I kinda just say she sleeps well and barely moans🙃

i feel like I get the “bitch look” after I leave a group 😂 but I really don’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️ Soz.

Phoebe has slept well since 2 months old. She used to wake twice a night until 5 months old it was once a night. And now she’s in her own room since just before 6 months old she sleeps nearly through the night.

Her bedtime is 7.30. 8 at a push depends what we have done in the day and how much she’s eaten.

she then normally wakes at 11 for a 6oz bottle then back down till 6 in the morning.

i bring her in with me I change her bum and she normally drifts back to sleep for a hour and we pop the telly on aroun 7.30 and chill in bed till 8🙌🏼🤗

cant complain about that really💁🏼‍♀️👏🏼

I will do a weaning blog at some point when I get round to it as I have plenty to write about and how we got on🙌🏼 so bare with me as I’m still getting used to the blogging world❤️

Take care

Hope to see you here again💖
