In need of a big update on phoebes milestones and her life…
So this blog post will be from when she was 6 months up to now which is 9 and half months..
So from 6 months phoebe was rolling, eating solid foods properly and enjoying them as well as having her milk.
She also started to try talk closer to 7 months old she would say ba ba. She would repeat it again if you said it back to her so this was my chance to drill mumma into her, did that work…
no
her first actual word was dada dead on 7 months old.
She has been put into a pumpkin for Halloween and exploring the wild life in the forest (eating mud and leafs)
I bought one of them fancy bamboo plates to spark up lunch and dinners that all but lasted 3 weeks (posting on Instagram) I just got fed up with taking photos every lunch and dinner. I did post more on my Instagram stories of before and after just to show people how much she would actual eat out of everything I gave her.
I will use it more when she’s a bit older.
At 7 and a half months she learnt how to wave and it was just the best thing, but not sure we got it mixed up with hello rather than goodbye but never mind 😂
We also had daddy off for a whole week and we did lots of first with phoebe together as a family.
We went to the oceanarium in Bournemouth, she went to our favourite little pub where me and her daddy used to go when we went for breaks away.
We also took her to our favourite arcade and strolled along the beach.
She loved every moment and was good as gold.
Then me and daddy had a date night and nanny took care of her.
On the 11th November we had a rather big fright with phoebe, she started to struggle to breath and her chest was going in so deep. She was chesty and I just felt like something was up she wasn’t her happy self. I rang 111 and got a ambulance out and we were told to go to the hospital as she had a crackle on one side. Went straight to a&e and the wait was horrific she managed to sleep on daddy, we got seen and she had a chest infection and high temperature.
Sent home with antibiotics by day 3 she was back to normal. It’s such a horrible feeling and I hope she doesn’t get them regularly because me and her dad have asthma and we both suffered bad as children.
Phoebe also dropped a bottle at night and started to sleep through 8-7.30 every day for 4 weeks then had a few off days being ill and since then she’s been sleeping through and I feel like a new woman😂
She hit 8 months and she was just full of mischief, kept pulling out all the wipes, nappies and nappy sacks like on a daily basis.
She also learnt what her tongue was and kept poking it out 😂
She also loves to dance but has done since around 6 months she rocks side to side and bum shuffles.
18th November was phoebes special day.
Her christening.
She was surrounded by so many people that loved her dearly. It was such a lovely day and everyone enjoyed it. We are so lucky to have so many people in our life’s who care and love us so much.
21st November we put our tree up. Yes I no don’t judge. We needed to see how big it was as it was new 🙄
Anyway..
22nd phoebe got to see the tree for the first time and her face was priceless. She was so shocked and we placed her down next to it and she just didn’t no what to do next. After a few days she got brave and rolled towards it and started kicking it💁🏼♀️ then she would get more brave and start pulling at it and the decorations. But in all fairness she didn’t damage or pull it over. Dreading next year when she’s walking around😂
Here is a snippet..
We also did the whole naked baby with the lights photoshoot.. and some clothed ones but naked baby bum ones are like the cutest right?🤭
Here you go, why not..

We also saw Father Christmas for the first time on the 2nd December. She loved him and didn’t cry or get scared👏🏼
Just before 9 months phoebes words improved she now can say, dada, go go, tah, hello(sounds more like ello) and sometimes mumma when she feels like it.
She can now also give kisses when asked rather than being random and head butting you or a toy. and she now can blow you a kiss.
She started to commando crawl a day after she turned 9 months.
She picked up speed just after a week.
On New Year’s Eve she was speeding along and really getting her knees up so I no she won’t be long, she’s also trying to follow me into rooms now and explore the house.
Couldn’t be prouder of her I really couldn’t. She has her 10 month check up on the 17th January.
so next week which will be the 7th I must remember to go through the checks 🙄 super bad as remembering to do all the paper work.
That’s all for now I’m sure I have missed bits out but if you follow me on Instagram I’m sure you have seen our journey daily and monthly anyway🥰 ( mumma.tophoebe) just in case your not 🤭
💜
See you soon.
